how accurate is the road angels gps system it with the standar wheels on the lupo 70mph on the clock is about 66mph on the ra 30mph is about 28mph on the ra
Speedos arnt acurate 10% margin of error if memory serves me. GPS should be reasonably acurate though its not as acurate as US Milatary GPS as there a margin of error coded in to the GPS system, unless you have the US milatary decoders and also the code.
GPS isn't accurate anyway so theres an element of error there. But as it measures your speed across the ground it's pretty accurate irespective of if you're runnin 13" wheels or 20" ones.

I've wondered this recently... Gearbox calculator says my car tops out at 135mph on rev limiter in 5th. Roadangel says it's doing 130 on rev limiter in 5th.
GPS is normally bang on the lazer gun readings when I do the Vmax events at Bruntingthorpe, however the speedos in various cars often over read hugely in the 170mph+ area.
Ruf Turbo R reads 211mph when you are only doing a mere 202- shockingly out! The TVRs tho are sometimes well over 20mph out!
