not including paying anyone to fit it etc just on the system and accesories not mdf and build materials etc cabling can be included not rrp prices either just what it's cost you mines about 3000 with an rrp of over 4500
I just dont get it. But you either do or you dont. I only really listen to the smiths so how would a million watt bass bin improve Lord Stevens LPs?
well i have the option to play dvd's on the headunit i have the option of annoying shops buildings neighbours i can hurt my friends without physically touching them i also win competitions which sometimes have good prizes to help fund my addiction and i'm not really into speed so i haven't spent much on performance and luv my tunes
120 for a kenwood cd player, and thats it....mr2 has amps, subs and pretty reasonable speakers as o.e. (for a '92 car its unbelieveable)
170 for sony hu 160 jl xr650i components 100 mtx components amp 125 alpine type r sub 150 kenwood sub amp 50 changer 40 rear 6x9s --------------------------- 100 touchscreen 60 160gig hdd 25 512 mb ram 50 case 20 wireless network usb dongle 75 gps reciever 50 software for gps so 1175 in total but i gussed and did upto 1000 in the vote!! lol yes new car alarm is next on the budget!!
lol security is a must mines gettin more secure all the time tints help stop people being nosey toad alarm with total closure helps with protection delocked deadlocked doors snap off steering wheel making it physicaly impossible to drive away if they get anywhere near that far and a setup that would take me a good half an hour to get anywhere near removing any off it it's a must if it attracts attention / spent alot on i'd sort some security before fitting anything at the least a cheap alarm that will go off with a window smash / door opened
yeah alarm and maybe windows is next on my list of stuff to do, however i live in an okay area so itll be okay for now, now realy life or death emergency
My old mk1 I spent 3500 on sound system, did it all and got bored with it, decided it wasn't really my thing, havn't even got a stereo in my car now, sat in my cupboard gathering dust.
mr purple what where you running and what was it built for sounds like a serious install please say it was a street bass beast
mine was about 1500 before it was all knicked. no security. thatll teach me. gettin a clifford alarm when money comes through from insurance will
New Kenwood H/U - 40. Cabling (mainly 4/8AWG) - 0. RCA cables & sundries (blocks, connectrors etc) - 0. Caliber 4ch amp - 30. Speakers - 0. As for alarms, I dont bother. If some c*nt wants to steal anything they will stick a brick through the window, and they dont give a sh*t if you have a 300 alarm as nobody pays any attention to the f*cking things anyway.
if you can't tell the difference between a quality sub and a sony sub theres something wrong with your ears it's really easy to tell when listening to them as for an alarm it helps a hell of alot i know i'd rather buy a new window than a new window plus system for a start it's very off putting unless your stupid enough to leave it somewhere miles away from anyone
