How much longer till I fully Boost

    okay I have 2003 1.8T GTI with so far 500 miles on it..

    I have:

    Turbo XS Driveter
    Turbo XS Wastegate Controller
    ABD Boost Controller 1 PSI to 14.5 PSI
    ABD FMIC
    4-Bar FPR
    Blitz Sus-Power intake system

    what is your recommendation till I really punch it? How many miles should it be till fully broken in? Thanks

    not really in a hurry... still winter here in the States.. wanna be ready for the spring season

    I wouldn't drive a n/a engine hard until it had 1000's of miles on it and a few oil changes, all depends on how long you want it to last or which method of breaking in you subscribe to.

    well I am not going to install anything yet except for the Driverter...

    going to wait till my first oil change...

    3,000 miles or 5,000 miles.. not in a hurry...

    but curious what you guys recommend..

    after the first oil change, it is a general rule that works on just about any car. one of the reasons is to get rid of metal in the engine from the manufacturing processes, as well as non-complimentary oils and lgreases from the manufacturing process. as well as to give the engine and driveline a chance to have the gaskets wear to form more perfect seals. this way, u also have that amount of driving to see any preliminary problems with the car, and get them fixed before u proceed.
