Hi, I am looking for some replacement big bumpers for my royal blue golf. I wondered if anyone could give me a rough idea of how much it might cost to get a bumper resrayed from another colour to royal blue and whether there would be any better or worse colours to get if I was going to do this?

    Cheers

Hi, we paid around 100 to have our rear bumper sprayed. best thing to do is go and get some quotes from the local bodyshops

Good luck matching panels to LA5U. Finding the colour is a pig.

90 each, my local bodyshop does them for.

Your painter should have a set of cards to match it to - all LA5U, but different degrees of fadedness. When I had to have my Oak green wing painted, he had about 7 different shades of it!
Then he hit me with an elephant wrench.

If you use a body shop, do the prep work to save some money.

I re-sprayed my front wing with rattle cans (from VW) and got a really good finish to save a fortune. The right temperature and technique to apply it can provide impressive results, just a thought

My mate did mine in his back garden with cans from Halfords. It looks great.
