180 bhp achievable without the need for a 'twin-throttle' intake manifold

It is certainly possible to achieve "180bhp" at Garage Streamline on a std base engine provided, you spend considerable time developing the control settings for the engine. Chucking hardware modifications would still mean control optimisation. I am certain that the large single throttle (or dual stage if you run a K-Jet) in our European ABF engines are not a restriction. So cannot see any benefit in running 2 throttles, more of a penalty to every day driving.
The "hole" seen at ~3.5K rpm may not be a simple flow problem, but a combination of manifold plusing and calibration.

Regarding 13:1 CR, do you mean headwork for clearance or headwork to increase flow?

E85 here in Brazil. You can use higher CR without having detonation issues.

Ok, but do u suggest me a re-work on that? It's the dual stage from K-JET, 35/52mm I think.

Thanks for the tips again!
And I mean headwork for clearence. :)
