    Hi,

I think i have a vacuum leak as i have on and off hunting idle. I renewed all the vac pipes i could find and the rocker cover flying saucer rubber thing.

But still have an idle bouncing around! When i got the car, before i messed with all the vac pipes (supposedly making it better!) , the idle was perfect, so obviously i`ve knocked or broken something - just can`t find it!

    Any help much appreciated!
    THanks, MIke

Spray WD40 around the lines etc and see does the idle pick up or falter.

I have an aerosol of solvent cleaner, spray that over all the pipes / suspect areas. If the revs pickup that is where the leak is.

I prefer it to WD40 just because it evaporates and leaves no residue but I`ve used WD40 myself
