   Being new to the golf, when i switch off after a drive, theres a humming/buzzing sound coming from the centre dash area, lasts a few mins, didnt happen on my scirocco so any ideas please?

   Co. Durham

   Mine does too, it seems to come from the engine bay. Even when it has been off for hours and you unlock it and pop bonnet to check oil etc.
