How much did you splash out on them? Perhaps it's worth advertising them in Fast Ford or Performance Ford. I don't buy these mags honest

The Golf is the only mag for me ;)

Cheers, it's in the garage having some repairs and being lowered by 40mm at the moment. I'll be updating the picture then to a side on view.

Never mind, I know it's easy for me to say, but we all make mistakes from time to time. I'm sure you'll get a buyer for them soon ;)

How long have you had your MK3 cab? Bet it's a lot more comfortable than mine!

    about two months!

It is totally comfortable! Just the 2.0 cant handle the collosal weight of the thing. Its nice and torquey, and im wheel spinning almost in third, but on the sprint its a bit of a woose!

I love the old shape cabriolet's, really chic

I like both shapes. Mine has cost me a lot of money to get it to the standard that its at now. It hadn't been looked after in the past, so I've had to shell out quite often when things have gone wrong. Yours is probably a lot more reliable than mine [:D]

Are you going to any of the shows this year? I can't wait until the Malvern Show in April :p

oo. I dunno, I have never been to a car show, I never seem to mod my cars enough to make it worth it.

I did have a gti, but that was an appalling joke of a car, total "lemon"..so I got this in november and its so cool :) I want some nice wheels, wish I hadnt bought this set though!

    I have a piccy

Just had a look, nice motor! Not all the cars at the shows are all modded up either.

A set of BBS alloys would really suit your car. I've got BBS split rims on mind. They're off a Polo GTI.

Whereabouts in the country are you from? The Malvern BVF show is always good and GTI International in Ipswich is the big one.

I bet you can't wait for the summer so that you can enjoy the cabriolet properly :p

Of course! Summer is going to be Such a blast!!

    I m in Cambridge, o bbs splits ?

I know you get 16' bbs somethings or others on the later model 3.5 cabriolets, not sure of the name but they do suit it. Might look into that if i knew what they were!

The rims are pretty good. Ltos of outer rim scratches, really nice tyres nearly new marshalls. 4 Stud.

But yes. I cannot wait for summer, it is going to be so cool :)

The rims are BBS RX2's. The 4 stud ones came on Mk3.5 cabs and on Polo GTI's.

BTW, Marshalls are never really nice tyres - they have no grip whatsoever in my experience!!

You are correct Drew. The PCD is measured across the bolt diagonal through the centre of the wheel.

The only thing I can assume is that the centre spindle was too small and he thought it was centred, when it wasn't.

Aye, the centric rings can be super-thin - the ones I needed for the beemer were 0.7mm thick...... easy mistake to make if you aren't aware of it!

Any news Joe_GTI? Have you found a buyer yet?

My wheels are the BBS RX2s. They would look great on your cab. I paid 335 for mine with rubber and not a mark on them (and still not a mark on them) ;)

    Hey!

I have had one interested blokey send me a message so I have replied to that.

A guy I know has a friend, he know (...) who is selling some "spyder" alloys. Which look like Xenons for 75 the set in 17 inch. Not sure whether hes making fun of me, but ill certainly follow it up!

Have you got a side view of your car ?

See, looks like you might have a buyer already! Those 17 inch wheels sound a right bargin. Xenons look really cool as well.

I'll get some side pics done of my car done this weekend when I get it back. I think my mate has got some more pics of my car, so I'll speak to him later.

Got an exam today at 2:00, so not looking forward to it [:s]
