C19 got me a couple of weeks ago. It was underwhelming really... Tiredness was the worst part. Otherwise it felt like a bit of a cold. Still not 100% though. I almost feel relieved now though, after 2+ years of trying to avoid it.
Poor little thing. Know a few people that have had it this year for first time, and it's knocked them for 6. Ed's still suffering from effects 15 months on. Me and Allie have been lucky so far. Hope recovery is good pal.
I know the feeling, had Covid in February too. Sick for only 2 days, but tired for many many more, and a lot of coughing which also kept for 2 weeks.
Good to have it and dealt with it and your immune system will be the strongest for it. I had it in December, tbf I had only had 1 jab at that point. It was a couple of weeks of feeling tired, cold like symptoms. I worked (I work from home) all the way through it so it wasn't a bed-bound affair but did have a couple of naps here there. My kids bought it into the house and unfortunately gave it to my wife (triple jabbed) first and then to me and she suffered exactly the same as me. Kids just shrugged it off. I have since had my 2nd jab now. I have a cold like virus right now and i'd say it is on par for me - its gone to the chest but not C19 as I have tested.
i am immune! the whole family had it, coughing, sneezing and generally being grim and yet i remained untainted
the fat middle aged man, currently playing video games because he cant be arsed to work..i have been chosen
I don't know if I've had it. I suspect, yes, very early on, before it was a thing. Several months of coughing but nothing else. Could have just been a cough of course My daughter (19) has had it twice but with little or no symptoms. Wife and son not had it. We are all triple jabbed now. Keep plugging away Tristan
It wasn't until it was in my house for the third time that I got it. Much like yourself I too thought I must have came from the Gods But then my 18 month old baby girl had it and all she wanted was to cuddle me and cough and sneeze snotters into my face, so I had little choice but to man up and lie there to catch it. Wasn't too hard on me, but I've a friend near died from it, intensive care for almost 2 weeks, and he's a big healthy farmer that you would have assumed would be fine! Get well soon Tristan, from the opposite end of Ireland!
