If we had two engine forums - one for two valves per pot and one for four!

maybe one for blown motors also?

You could either have it by car or by engine. I think by engine would be best because there are lots of cars, like mine, with engines from a different model so you would have:

    8v
    16v
    20v
    VR6

But then again you might have to have:

    DX
    PB
    KR
    ABF
    AAA

The VR6 would come under the 2 valves section and the 1.8T under the blown section!

see got it all worked out ;)

power to the people and all that - do you reckon it will be done?

I think it's cool to have all in one section. Can still learn stuff from reading about other engine types and other no. of valves per cylinder, that could be related to your type of engine.

Think of all that useful info that you would miss out on.
Compression ratios, shrouding, head gaskets, porting etc etc.

Vortex does lose out when people in one forum start discussing items that relate to all cars.

but then the 24v VR6s would be under a different section to the 12v VR6s!!

so youd have 8vs & 12v VR6s in one section, 16vs & 24v VR6s in another and 1.8Ts, 12v VR6 Turbos and 24v VR6 turbos in the forced induction section? no thanks! What about Mad 20v? does he get a section all to himself? (20v non turbo lol).
