The metering head works it's just the idle mixture screw that seems to be a problem. But until I have time to strip it down I won't know for sure. I'll do it this week when I get an evening free!
I think if I was goIng to spend 300+ vat I'll go down the standalone ECU and bin the k-jet all together. Which is what I'm planning on doing at a later date. Just want to make sure that what I currently have is running and set the best they can for now.

I'm pretty sure I've got a spare 8v metering head if you need parts from it.

Give me a shout & I'll bring it to the next meet

I went over to Megasqirt, the K-jet pumps are more than enough for EFI injectors but you have to fit a regulator in the engine bay.

Cheers Keith. What pressure are you running at? I'm guessing about 4 bar will be more than adequate!

no need to fit a regulator if you're using a std EFI fuel rail with an FPR built in, the fpr will take care of it for you

Fair enough!, I run a BBM billet injector rail with no regulator, 450cc/min injectors.

I set mine at 3bar/ 43.5psi with the reference line disconnected at idle, then reconnect the reference line after setting.

You can bump the fuel pressure up to give yourself effectively bigger injectors to a point.

My Mitsubishi GTO is also running custom fuel lines/ 1200cc/min injectors/ twin pumps and I set that at 3bar base pressure with no problems at all.

I was thinking itb at a later date and I know that the fuel rails on them don't come with a fpr so a separate one would be required! Any way I still havent had a chance to strip down the metering head just yet cos of work commitments. On another note how many people are running without the throttle switch? Mine. Rome just before Xmas and I haven't got round to replacing it. It idles higher but other than that I can't tell of any other downsides?
