hi all just about to swap my 1.9 td aaz powered mk1 for a tdi 130 lump and due to the various issues i am bound to stumble across, i was thinking of buying the ross tech system. i have a couple other vag cars so it would be dead handy, but can i delete the immobiliser off the ecu with this system? if i decide yo keep my go clocks? if not any recommendations who can i am in brighton but can travel within reason! cheers j
Pretty sure you can't do it with the vag com cable. I got mine done, along with the loom conversion, by a guy off the Scottish vag forum. Pm me and I'll send you his details if you want. Ben
nope you cant with vcds, you need different software to read and write code to the ecu. some ecu are easier than others, plus plenty of guys out there who can do it for you
