I think I remember someone on here that brought a Mk2 2 door Jetta Coupe back from the continent a while back, any remember, some photos would be good too.

I have been looking on Vortex and they are popular in the US, seen a few for sale in Germany, which look good value.

Any recent pics of your one? Looks clean and straight in that photo?

What did you pay for yours? , a lot of them seem to be 1.3

Mine was a 1.3cl, essentially a polo gt engine with digifant injection and a 4 speed box. Did 1k miles almost exactly to get it home, and managed to blow the downpipe gasket clean out as it was maxed out for a lot of the journey!

Price wise, think the car worked out to be 700 odd, dont think that included the flight out, and other transport costs - mine was a pig to get to mind, right across the other side of germany

Mine is clean and straight, didnt look to have been apart when I got it - a few marks etc, but certainly nothing major. As for recent pics, hmm, do I or dont I

 

I should add that I found mine on www.mobile.de, but it took a year odd of emailing sellers before I ever got a reply
