Done 4 years ago on a wet downhill off camber 60/65mph hump/ left bend thing.
I knew the bend intimately but typical factors caused it.
    1. Lack of concentration/tiredness/ too slow to catch tail
    2. 3 new Continental tyres plus a hard old Barum on the outside rear. (Dont skimp on tyres)
    3. Too much speed
Quick oversteer to inside of bend .... roll ..... slide down road on roof and stop in verge/hedge.
No injuries (driver only in car).

Roof buckled when putting it back on its wheels afterwards

You can see all the scrapes where it slid on its roof, boot and bonnet.

Seeing as only 1 door would open we decided to give the polish a miss that year. :)

It was more the tyre was old, hard and gripless methinks. Rubber hardens as it gets older . Needless to say I always replace in pairs... or a full set now. ;)

Ouch ! must replace my tyres ! had the mot today and he said that if he had his way he would say get new ones, they have loads of tread, continental contacts, but they are hard and shiny from where it`s been stiing on them for 4 years .had some fun on the way back from testing, after getting the valve timing right (i had it about as far out on the vernier as i could get it ! ) goes like stink now,but bit lary when it lets go around roundabouts ! need some new sticky tyres
