Big up the Brentacre massiv (or something like that!) [:$]

I like to think I'm a (fairly) responsible gal, early 30's, full no claims bonus, 3 pts on on my license over 3 years old and a minor bump at a roundabout over 12months ago, no damage to my old car, a bit of work needed to the eggbox I hit that slammed its brakes on abruptly in the middle of a roundabout for no other reason than he must've seen a car coming 1/2 a mile away [:x]

When I bought the Passat my old insurers at the time, Cornhill, wanted in excess of 1300 fully comp (more than I'd paid fior the bloody car itself!), someone else, either Herts or RH??, wanted over 1400, some wouldn't even give me a quote. It's my bloody postcode, you'd think it was Beirut! In the end I got a great deal from Brentacre with an insurer that actually wouldn't quote for me through my previous broker.

When I used to work for Ladbrokes I had a hell of a game getting insurance because I had a "high risk job" and lived in a high rated postcode [:v:] :( and I only had a little mk3 Escort.

    PMSL

It's such crap it really is....
