just taken this to the MOT station

    looking exactly like this:

    and it passed with no advisories at all. think the tester was really looking hard for something to fail it on too cos he took ages :lol:

    :lol: nice work, my MOT tester took quite a long time on mine as it turned up with 2 seats, 2 harnesses and a steering wheel and nothing else inside it, he was cool with it though just a bit sceptical at first!

    I thought the passat would fail mot on "sharp edges to bodywork" due to the trim clips on the doors sticking out

    sharp edges have to be due to damage or corrosion to meet the 'reason for rejection' criteria.....therefore it's a pass


    As for the lupo, i think the MoT tester was just covering his ****.....as long as tyres do not hit the bodywork, there is some suspension travel and the bottom of the car has not been repeatedly hit on the road/speed bumps near fuel lines or brake lines then it is a pass and advise as he/she has done in this case
