Kerbed alloy repair

    Made a right mess of one of my wheels this morning [:x] , anyone have a rough idea what it would cost to have someone repair a kerbed alloy? can i expect it to look like new again?

    give spit and polish a ring..should look like new when they have finished...


    or if its a scuff, do it urself!

    Bollox to doing it myself, id just make a hash of it. any idea what i would be looking at paying spit & polish?

    Yeah, i luv em [:D] speedline 16s. slightly ashamed to say it but were probably the main reason for me getting the car, it was only the first vr6 i had gone to look at, but i bought it on the spot.

    After ringing round local places, i think i might try a bit of self-repair. Can anyone recommend any good kits/methods for repairing alloys. its only the rim of the wheel thats been damaged. thanks

    Just dropped off four alloys at a local powder coating place. 30 each wheel and they will deal with any scratches or keerbing as part of that.

    Saw their work when I dropped them off and they look brand new
    They are in Edinburgh though
