i bought their album cos I liked the "naive" track that's always playing on the radio.

not very impressed with any of the other tunes on there to be honest, yet it's been getting loads of amazing reviews.

I think "see the world" is a pretty decent track, as an album, it doesn't match the hype though!

I find this with a lot of albums these days, one decent single..... but not one other even half decent track.

I love this album, give it a few more listens. It may be a grower...

I tend to ignore hype on anything if I can help it.

Its either that or the radio stations play the "good" songs to death. Arctic Monkeys anyone?[xx(]

Don't get me wrong, I like the Arctic Monkeys. The problem is Radio 1 seems to want to have a collective ejaculation all over them and play all there songs to death which them makes the songs particularly irritating.

Oh, and the lead singer p!ssed me off at the awards thing they won at. Arrogant cnut.

I don't buy what I'm told, I bought the Kooks album cos I like the one song thats always on the radio. The rest let the album down.

The reason I got the Chili Peppers album was again, cos I like one of their songs on the radio so I thought I'd buy the album.

I make up my own mind of what I want to buy. what I like and what I dislike.

    LOL, this is true.

But I can't stand the same poorly produced adverts on the commercial radio over and over and over and over and over and over again after every song.

    The lesser of two evils.

the reason everyone is probably buying stadium arcadium is that a: the RHCP are the *******s
    and b: it's probably a very good album ;)

They arent the ******s though and havent been threatening to be good for over a decade(remember how bad one hot minute was?) The music industry is so sneaky, if you think your cool, you buy what your told to buy.If you like pop, you buy what your told to buy.
Just because Zane Lowe says 'The album of the year' doesnt mean it is. I cant think of a record so far this year that has knocked my socks off, even the Tool record is meh. Dirty Pretty things arent a patch on the Libs, The Morrissey record is lisenable but cant clean the boots of Maladjusted and the arctic Monkeys, we have all had that arguement. Forward, Russia!, Punish the Atom and Liam Frost are all I can hold hope for this year. Musically, this year has been like Tranmeres season, largely forgetable.
