Yeah, i have heard you need to climitise them I i'll try not to run the poor bugger over like i did with my mfa stalk the other week So what effect does the breather and block up the airbox hole thing have on the seting up?
If you don't block them, you get inflated CO numbers because of the crankcase fumes going into the intake.....
I always used to do mine after an oil change and set the co to 1.5% with the breather connected, found this to give my car the best setting for warm-up hot idle etc. Nearly ran my gunson over a couple of times as well, a few scrapes but it`s still going Even with the breather dissconected mine hated 2%, to rich for idle. If you push the allen key down it moved the metering arm and leanse the mixture out, that`s what stalls the car, it`s not like the idle bypass screw setup, more like an adjustable lever arangement.
Thanks for all the advice! that's why i decided to get the gunston, so i can really have a play and find the best setting! All i need now is a fuel pressure gauge and i am set anyone know where you can get one?
