lambda sensor socket

    Which socket would be best to buy for removing a lambda sensor? The first one looks stronger, but i'm not too sure.

    No 1,

    I have a Snap-On no2 and it spreads out on really tight sensors.

    Heat up the exhaust with a blowlamp before you try and undo it is the best advice I can give.

    another option is if sensor is dead chop the wire and slot a proper socket/spanner over it, as above I have #2 and its fine to do up new ones but it can get a bit tricky if sensor is stuck!

    edit: or if not de-pin the plug and slip the spanner alllll the way down the wires :lol:
