Where is the best place to get this kind of stuff?
Im after crystal big bumper indicators and crystal side repeaters as ive just wired them in.
Looked on ebay and i think nearly 20 for a set is quite expensive[:$]

Also, Has anyone split a fog light? Im after taking the glass out but its stuck in. How long do i need to put it on the over for or is there a better way?

    Trying to recreate this look[l]

They're non-crystal indicators aren't they? Crystal looks awful anyway [:p]

You might get away with just running a blade around the foglight glass to get them off?

The left one kinda looks like crystal but the right standard.
I will take your word for it though as i was a bit suspect on crystal!
What about the side ones, Does crystal look cack too?

Ive got all the stuff around the glass but its stuck from the side really.
I might just run the bandsaw straight accross the back of the glass, I will only loose 1-2mm.

I'm not really a fan of clear bits on MK2, much prefer black (not smoked) personally [:p]

There are no side repeaters in your pic either, they're factory blanks by the looks of things. Get regular clear stuff like in your link anyway, crystal is sooo 2006 [:p]

I decided to go with the smoked crystal front indicators on mine, and used normal smoked side repeaters.

They seem to go well with the car. Reason being is that i didn't want bright orange ones standing out, needed something subtle to go with the colour of the car. I was going to Lamin X the original orange ones but went for these in the end.

Yours looks great in the first pic Mat

You should really put it back to it's Rallye fronted G60 guise, I f*cking loved that car when it looked like that [l]

Ah venom, I forgot about them. I will have a look.

It currently has black/smoked but they are very dark. Not sure I like them really. It looks abit DIY too.
The side ones has wolfsberg badges over the holes but I've put repeaters back in as I think it would be good to have them on the track. Managed to find the feeds for them tucked up the chassis leg and knicked the harness from my breaker. Proper factory install!

    Your telling me!

He just got a tube of mastic and stuck everything back together, Even stuck the wingmirrors in so they wouldnt adjust anymore!
He sold all the good parts off it, Racing battery, Porsche handles, VDO's etc. All gone!

Well done for Gillm for putting it back together as it is!

Clown, in his defense though somebody did pour brake fluid all over it so he had to have it resprayed, he at least kept the colour...

It's a shame these untouchable classics get into the hands of these scene kids who just treat them like any other disposable MK2, the original G60 PM (in Vealige guise) went the same way :(

Oh great, thanks for that. I didn't know that happened!
I guess it counts for the overspray everywhere as there is no way this car would have won anything in it's current condition.
Do you have a link to any information on it from E38?
I don't know the guys username that had it so it's a minefield!

    Cheers
