limited grille on non limited golf..yay or nay (now with pics)

    thinking of making a replica golf limited grille (blue stripe instead of red) and putting it on my g60 ed1 for a while...just to make a change

    is it a insult to limiteds to run a copy cat grille...or is a g60 ed1 special enough to wear one?

    Would look nice but I turned down a cheap rallye interior because my car wasn't a rallye so I know what you mean.

    hahha i got a rallye interior in the 16v already

    i dont want to look like im a limited wana be , just thought its differant without being lairy

    Yea, go for it, at the end of the day if you do it and your not feeling it it only takes 5 mins to swap a grille. Get some pics up when you do it!

    yeah do it mate theres only two or three MK2's worthy of wearing the blue stripe apart from the Limited..... G60 (cos i gots one), G60 Ed1, Rallye

    leave it standard,ed1's never came with red surround on the grill anyway

    not like its a permanent mod is it...i can change back to standard in 2 mins

    Its not like plenty of none g60 dubs aren't wearing g60 steels etc :p

    right done it...not sure i like it really, might leave it on for a while and see if grows on me

    luckily my masking and painting skills are better than my picture taking abilitys lol
