hey guys, i have a 91 GTI 16V, The car runs great, other then the cold start, power loss and lumpy idle, the problem is the unconsistent annoying reving sound. the engine is visibly rocking. Idle keeps spiking just keeps reving.. rev rev rev rev.. it looks like i want to race people at the light stop. ive been told its the TB switches that need to be re adjusted. Ive cleaned out the ISV with carb cleaner, & same with the tb. i found some new/used tb switches havnt touched them yet. I just want to figure out whats causing this so i can have a normal steady idle without the reving. has anybody had a simillar problem? please its driving me crazy any help or advice thanks.
