I would like to make my Lupo GTi a little faster than standard. Can someone give me some advice on products and parts that might help. Cheers
depends entirely on how fast you want to go, how much money you want to spend, is fuel economy important, driveability requirements etc. A bit more detail would help. tt
don't know much about the lupo gti but i would guess for that money you'd be looking at improving the engine breathing - exhaust system, exhaust manifold, air filter, head, cams etc. Head and cams will make the most difference but the intake and exhaust system need to be breathing well to start with ideally. the cams (depending on which you choose) may affect economy but not unduly so if you choose conservatively - nothing too wild. All i've said is very general stuff - hopefully someone will chip-in with some more specific answers for you. tt
f**k the NOS. Contact JabbaSport and drop a VR6 into it. That will certainly make a teensy weensy bit faster.
Have you seen the price of cams for the Lupo??? In TSR's catalogue I think they quote 600...phew. What about turboing it?
Think he means Dubsport? What about a different ECU or a remap - are they any good? Just guessing, don't know much about Lupos.
Whether its Jabba or Dubsport, its pretty academic. The guys got 1k to spend...something tells me that no one will fit a VR to a Lupo for 1k Personally I'd go with what the Fashionable Homeless Person says.
yer, no poo. Tongue was firmly in cheek. Althoguh I did see a corrado VR engine on ebay yesterday at 150 quid. Edited by: Tonsk
