Mark4 1.8T Stalling and missing

Hi There

I've just bought a 1999 1.8T mark 4 AGU engine, and its started to mis-behave. It was running fine until yesterday. you will lightly presh the accelerator and it seems to splutter / mis, its doing it in all gears, but only if you pull away lightly, if you floor it it's OK.

Its also started stalling as you run to a stop!!

Help, as I've just parted with my cash and want the car to be running fine.

Any suggestions to what it might be and possibel fixes woudl be great!

Read the fault codes..............The maf is where I would place a bet!

 

aye, if not maf, maybe coil packs too....?

 

or ign amp too.. on AGU

Hi All thanks for the comments - Its goenback to two VW dealersa and no fault codes can be found!!!!!
What else could it be - fuel contamination, injectors, fuel filters? please help
