We now can buy Maxol E5, 5% Bioethanol mix., petrol in Eire. This is rated at 99 Octane. Will this solve all my EV fuel problems? I have posted before about not wanting to frig the timing on my EV, and that I am using Octane Booster. I was advised to mix my own petrol using Toluene. So, are my prayers now answered? Has anyone seen tests of 5% Bio. mix. compared with Super Unleaded?
