I noticed some oil in the engine bay when I bought the car and thought it could be leaking from the sump gasket, it actually turns out it's coming from the fuel pump gasket.

When the engine is running it wobbles up and down and you can see its wet on the seal, was the fuel pump attached by studs and nut or bolt? For some reason someone has put a couple of Long bolts in with an extra nut on the thread so It can be tightened down and it just doesn't look right.

    Cheers Mousey...

its held on with 2x M8x30 bolts, there should be a spacer between it and the block with a seal either side

Thankyou for that. I'm guessing someone has just put a couple of bolts that fit the hole and made it work, only problem now is I can't get to the right hand one where the oil filter is to tighten it up without taking off the oil filter and bit that connects it to the engine block.
