Hi Everyone, I have done a search on "Media Interface Unit" and "Sat Nav Failure" & found nothing, perhaps someone out there can help with this ( although I hope no one has suffered here). My 2017 Mk 7.5 GTi has lost the whole media, the message in the instruments reads compass not available or similar. I took the car to VW, technician tried a reset & nothing happened. It looks like the media system has failed & will need replacing, the cost will be large. This is a 6 1/2 year old car, 29k miles, barely used during covid and this is a large failure. My 96 Gti has never had a bill like this! Has anyone experienced this, if yes do you have knowledge of repair options - is there a market out there for this?
