Just got my speedo working for the 1st time since buying it! MK2 gti 16v but the mpg reading is only around 8- 10 mpg any idea what might be causing that low reading? Thats driving it normally and i know it does alot more than that thank god Any ideas
Hi that sounds promising does the vac pipe run from the back of the cluster to the engine bay if so any idea whereabouts in engine bay it should run. Still nursing the wounds on the back of my hands from changing speedo cable bit fiddly int it
ive just bought a 16v gti myself, speedo and computer was working but it was telling me i was only getting 12 mpg. I know i was getting more - might check this myself!
