Im sure her insurance company will love her aswell...
I got the invoice back to check over from the hire car company. I had it for something like 68 days all in all, And the total bill including storage of my car and VAT came to just over 3200 Pounds!!!
    Lovely!

Leaving the scene of an accident is a major penalty points offence. just ask my brother. he barely nudged a car in a car park (says he left a note ......) and he got 8 points and a 375 fine.
The inference being that he could have been drunk or incapable of driving and that is why he left. same deal with people who don't give breath or blood test...instant ban.
Now correct me if I am wrong, this was in a community college, owned by the council, public property and accessable by anyone. Road Traffic act still applies. Whilst the police may say it is a civil case, it is debateable.
Write to your local Chief Constable and ask him if it is general practise to ignore offences that have a penalty of this mangintude when the evidence is so clear.
Mention the names of the kind officers you spoke to.
She has already admitted liability to the accident and by default has already admitted to leaving the scene..........easy prosecution.

I love a good complaint letter!!

I think the general consensus is all bodyshops are crap and all talk ****e with **** poor organisation. Heard many a tales of quick turnaround spray jobs ending up taking 12 months.
