Another quick post to guage interest as we have had a lot of enquiries recently. Jetex currently offer a 2" exhaust system in mild steel and a stainless system in 2.5" most customers seem to want stainless these days however on original 1800 and even modified gti's 2.5" exhaust is to large losing power and being very loud. So working in conjunction with Jetex we are looking at the possibility of making the 2" system in stainless steel. If anyone is interested in these please contact us via e-mail they will be available for the mk1 gti and cabriolet and will retail at 299 we are hoping these will be available in 4-5 weeks.

Hi depending on what HP you are running a 2.5" should be ideal for a 1.8t conversion the 2" system is more aimed at the more original 1.8 cars with small mods around 150bhp and under.

Noise levels? would want something similiar to my old 3 box system supersprint (quiet) and would it choke an ABF engine on throttle bodies, hopefully producing more than 150 bhp.

Would be fine for sound but probably a bit restrictive for the ABF motor

Have you any manifolds for mk1's running abf engines?
