MK1 16v Insurance move after 17years

Hello Everyone

Its that time of year when the MK1 Insurance is due, after 17 Years with the same company i decided to spend more time shopping arround.

The quotes i got back were half the price i've been paying ,

all modifications declared

 

Out of interest where did you end up moving to as I've got to get mine insured very shortly?

 

I've been with Brentacre which is a (Highway Policy) for years (380) , the new quote is from Adrian Flux (Marker Study policy) 180

but i also have quotes from a couple of others which are arround the same figure. 150 - 180

Benny mentioned what he was paying for his 20vt so that got me looking

 

Cool thanks for that I use to have my Mk1 insured as a classic through Lancaster but they aren't interested in modified cars based on brief discussion I had a while ago.

 

i have just used lancaster for my cabbie on an agreed valuation of 4k and pay 187 fully comp with 13 years no claims.was cheapest around.
