mk1 caddy or mk2 golf? First car

    Hi Guys!

    I am Coming up 17 and really want a old vw,

    but i can't decide on a golf or caddy??

    any pointers in which way to sway or is it all preference.?

    Mk2. Easier to find I imagine.

    Caddy likely to be harder to insure for a youngster, and much easier to crash..............so, agree, mk2, as well as much wider choice. Caddy's rust a bit too. Got a lovely 6N2 Polo going up for grabs mid Jan
