i think the one i got was meant for a cab, it seems to have different fittings to what i need, but the quality seems pretty good.
I got one off ebay have'nt a clue what make it is but when i got it it was for a cab, so i just chopped the mounts from the bottom corners off and just fitted it. It doesn't fit flush in the corners though, but i have noticed this with alot of 5 slat grilles, so i don't know if this is the same for all debadged mk1 grilles.
thats what i paid for mine too,same time-ish,same place... not keen on the quality,prefer the originals now tbh. ps:all 5 slat grills are now cab fit,but ya just make em do.
mine is an fk one, quality seems ok but it does stick out in the bottom corners which looks pap, will be changing soon.
how well did it fit? mine doesnt seem to want to fit at all, its like my car has a different front panel to the cab's.
Yeah mine didnt fit either (FK 5bar) got mine from venom, they said cut the side clips off to make it fit, from what ive seen it sticks out at the edges but have only trial fitted it so far.
instead of the screw holes at the bottom corners the cab grilles have clips, all you need to do is get a hacksaw and cut the clips off. the corners will stick out a little but you just have to live with it. its not that noticeable really.
does it sound any good? My mum had a full magnex on her S*xo and it sounded pretty guff. Could have been the fact it was a french car though.
