The bloke that sold it to me sold me a pretty ****ed engine. (rusty inside)
    with missing parts....
and a gearbox that doesnt go into 2nd or 5th...

HOWEVER .... i do have a 4 speed i could put back on....and weather the engine is that bad....i dont know....

Almost cant be ****ed anymore....regretting it...

Right couple of things i could do with some people to havce a ganders at...
    Firstly..

In the red circle, should there be some sort of electrical terminal/plug? it looks like there should be? Oil/Water pressure sesnor?

    Secondly...
Is this wired correctly, its the dizzy - TCI unti wiring, Looks alright to me but....would like a second opinion..

    Thirdly...
    WHERE DOES THIS GO?!
I cant see a plug anywhere that looks like that, and it has 'IDLE CONTROLL UNIT' written on it, I assume it is correct but still cant find somewhere for it go....Any ideas?

If anyone has anything that could help me please let us know, Thanks.

    Ian.

    1. dash coolant temp sensor, you shoudl have a rted/yellow wire somewhere. it might already be connected to the same type of sensor in the front flange. if so, no worries!

    2. its a bit of a bodge but it will work! better to have those wires soldered and heat shrinked to seal them. crimp on spades are never ideal

    3. dont recognise that one. where did this loom come from?

oh yeah **** the spades that was just to hole together.

I took the plug on the loom apart and its just a single spade termial. I have a feeling it for picture 1...

and for 2, so blue-brown is correct? visavee.

main thing is check where each wire goes on the tci unit:
    3 - hall sender pin 1 (or -)
    6 - hall sender pin 2 (or 0)
    5 - hall sender pin 3 (or +)
