Does anybody know the original paint colour or code for the mk1 golf sportline. They did it in red and black I need to know the red it was I am restoring my mk1 clipper and want it based on the sportline. Hope that's not cheating. Any advice would be good. Also looking for a set of original sportline recaro seats. Thanks

I have my BBS RA Wheels powder coated balc and the rims machines so they were polished alloy, not painted silver.

The Calmaster's were fitted from the MK1 while the RA's were being refurbished.

Powder coating was 25 a wheel, the they were machined by Tony Bickerstaff in Wakefield alloy wheel repair specialist another 20 per wheel

It was lowered on FK Konisport coilovers about 65mm all round

how do you mean you had them machined. were they damaged because mine are in good condition i painted one myself all the others were painted allready but i like them better powder coated look a lot more professional.
65mm is a lot to have it lowered i used to have a 306 and it was lowered 60mm too low for me i was thinking coilovers. were they the best for you
