ive heard about the kits being fitted but this is the first one ive seen http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=170139354765&ssPageName=STRK:MEWA:IT&ih=007
Air conditioning was available as an option on the continent. Its obviously an import (which might have happened when the car was almost new), since its that funny light green metallic (Inari Silver Metallic??), which was never available as a colour in the UK.
AAAaahh, so that explains why i had never seen another in that colour, had one but stupidly sold it to buy the mk2, wish i hadn't. Mine used to be owned by a British diplomats wife that was in Italy i think, which explains the colour. And yes, Inari silver it is.
I know he say's it's had thousands spent on it, i'm just trying to figure out where? Weekly salt baths?
Every old car, has probably now had thousands spent on it - on servicing and other items over the life of the vehicle! Just because its had a lot spent, doesn't mean that its now reliable. It depends what was replaced, and when. Remember, we're talking about 25 year old cars here....
