hi I changed the 1.8 bar oil pressure switch on my 89 mk2 as oil was passing up through the spade connector. since replaceing the sender the oil pressure light on the dash flashes. could someone please give me any indication weather it is indicating high or low pressure? thankks guys .. john
Low, it's the yellow wire that goes to one of the senders on the oil filter housing that'll be the problem. Earthing said wire should stop the light/buzzer
if its flashing at idle its the other sensor with the blue wire that's the problem, or the wire itself. unless your pressure really is low!
