mk2 16 v oil pressure High/low??

    hi

    I changed the 1.8 bar oil pressure switch on my 89 mk2 as oil was passing up through the spade connector. since replaceing the sender the oil pressure light on the dash flashes. could someone please give me any indication weather it is indicating high or low pressure?

    Low, it's the yellow wire that goes to one of the senders on the oil filter housing that'll be the problem. Earthing said wire should stop the light/buzzer :)

    if its flashing at idle its the other sensor with the blue wire that's the problem, or the wire itself. unless your pressure really is low!

    does anyone have a photo of which wire goes to which sensor??

    yellow wire -> white sensor
    blue wire -> black/brown/blue sensor
