mk2 16v 0-100mph ?

any ideas what a standard 16v mk2 does 0-100 in.if not what about the 1/4 mile?

 

Standard mk2 16v 1/4 mile is 'about' 16.3 @ 88 mph

 

I think 100 comes up in about 20/21 seconds

 

what about a 2.0 16v mk2 9awith about 170 brake????????


im going down th e strip with mine soon if i can sort the overheating problem out sooooooooooooon.

how did you get that power hike,


cams and chip induction and exhaust?

 

oh and what sort of times do you get down the drag with that power?

 

Only have the exhaust

 

Only way you will find out is by going and doing a quarter mile day............a lot of it is down to driver, so what one person can do might not be the same as the next person.

 

how can your 2.0 16v have 183 brake with just an exhaust, sounds like school yard talk to me?

its not so bizzare to get 180+bhp from a standardish 2.0 16v, just take the mk2 clio sport for instance...

 

are the other 'tweaks' not included then within tubs and GVK's to get +180bhp


or is it themagical'just' an exhaust

You're missing the point, the point is Tub doesn't have a chip or cams

lol at you lot. Tubs has an ABF with a flowed head, exhuast and its well set up. He's also got(I think) some seat ABF cams and a heavy right foot!
