Hello all, I'm looking for a great quality replacement radiator for my Mk2 16v KR, I believe the 16v rads are dual pass?, plus there's a Supercharger bolted to it. What's my best bet for a replacement radiator, mine has managed to shed a load of Aluminium by the look of it in storage?. Don't mind paying for something that will do they job and last. Any recommendations appreciated. Cheers, Keith.
An 8v rad, single core but much bigger, Mr Newman recently told me people sell off 1.6 rads as 16v rads, they’re only single core not dual like the 16v ones
as above really, if you can get a good proper spec 16v rad that'll probably do you fine but trouble is finding one. the 1.8 8v rads are everywehre and dirt cheap. also depends on width of intercooler though
I can get an 8v rad for £50 (Topran German made) or a full aluminium radiator for £150. Is it worth the extra for the full aluminium jobby?. Not "bling" person, purely which would be better for the job?.
