mine has started to cut out when cold when stopping at junctions, happens more if I have approached a junction and dipped clutch from high revs, motor just cuts out clean ??

I have previously fitted a genuine blue temp switch which seemed to cure it, but that has only done about 1k since being fitted

    any help appreciated :)

mine used to do it with a dodgy isv, it refused to idle when cold, but when it warmed up it was fine and there was no hunting, so I changedthe isv for another one and it was fine but then hunts [:x]

    airleak, or oily intake pipework/ISV,
use some carb/intake cleaner, clean the inside of the throttle body/butterflys. and the rocker cover to intake pipework etc
sorted mine out when was doing same as yours and took 20mins.

the UFO shaped thing or the bung? the bung can die due to the sharp rocker cover edge, turn it upside down if you need a quick fix to get home.

check the idle swithc on the bottom of the throttle body clicks, and the wiring to the throttle hasnt snapped round the back.

had one of the 2 wires break about 3 months ago, made the car hunt at tickover, ba*tard to find as the wire break was within the protective sheath

a quick way to test the wiring to the switches, hold it just off idle say at 1.5k rpm, and press the switch on the top of the throttle body and the revs should drop, then release and they should come back up again :)
