Hello all, I need the two rear engine mounts for my mk2 16v.

What's best make to go for?, are they all similar quality?.

I have a Vibra Technics (sp) front mount still in good condition, just need a decent pair of rear mounts.

    Are Febi ones OK?.

    Cheers, Keith.

Vibratechnics if you want something a bit harder. Their street stuff is pretty good

I have run a Febi sourced 16v driver's side engine mount and gearbox mount on my road going 16v track car.

Not only have I just run such mounts, but covered over 30k miles on them.

Ensure you buy the 16v types, and not 8v or lesser rubber items.

Gone for Febi Gearbox and rear engine, my Vibratechnic front still looks fine for front.
