I have recently converted my Mk2 Gl from Auto to Manual and at the same time fitted a weber carb, the car is working fine, but the thermostat is not working as in the radiator fan does not come on. I have fitted two radiator thermostats/fan switches. 1st one (gray I think) Turns the fan on constantly 2nd one, (Black I think) Does not turn the fan on at all two questions, is there a difference in switches due to the colour ? any idea why there may be a problem or if i can test the thermostat switches?
