So I’ve finally ordered some MOMAN glow gauges for my mk2 and had a go at installing them.

The install wasn’t too difficult even with my limited soldering skills but no my rev counter doesn’t work and I don’t really know how to fix it.

I’ve had to remove the needle to install the glow gauge face but when I push the needle back into the rev counter mechanism nothing happens. Is there a trick to putting the needle back in?

Wow, that is an impressive set of lights, they do look good. Are they distracting at night when driving?

Don't forget your factor 50 sunblock for night driving!

I haven’t had a proper drive with them yet, but they do show up a bit brighter in the pictures than in real life
