Hi. My mk2 ce2 had the wiring removed by the previous owner going to the bootlid. The bootlid has been de-wipered so i dont need to worry about the wires for the wipers. Can anyone tell me what colour wires are for : Heated rear window. Number plate lights. Thank you.
look behind the boot card/carpet on the passenger side, you should hopefully find the spade terminals where the tailgate loom would have plugged in. the wires you need here are green/grey for plate lights and white for the screen. Plate lights earth direct to the shell near the spade plugs with a ring terminal, screen earths over on the other side
Thanks so much for your help. Number plate lights are working. I need to get some heavier wire for the rear window heater. Mine is smaller than oem.
