    Fits to front apron, just behind the lower spoiler where there are holes already, not the crossmember.

    Rear there was holes right on the edge of the subframe K frame from memory, definitely didn't drill anything, but it was a year ago or more it got put on.

    What you call K frame is the subframe: 191 199 315:

    I have to check if I have these holes, can't remember...

    Main subframe, sometimes referred to as K due to the shape, holes are on front edge for fitting the undertray.

    @dodgy thanks for the centrefolds!

    @PhilRyder - had a look at VW parts int. on eBay and looks like they no longer have the trays for mk2

    @daNpy + @Tristan - I was also wondering if it would help reduce drag - not that I'm tracking the car - more like it might help reduce fuel consumption a touch ;)

    I checked autodoc and the Klokkerholm part is out of stock but they have a couple of other branded versions available. All similar price of about 45-50 Euros. Interestingly they are labelled as 'silencing material' rather than 'crud deflection devices' but hey ho.

    Not sure what postage and import costs will be like but it's payday this week so I'm going to order one.

    If anybody is interested in a group buy and up for waiting a bit and/or collecting from Leeds area send me a PM before 6pm Friday evening :)

    I was searching for the part in catcar last night and I noticed it is indeed mentioned as noise insulation, but that's what is was ment for including the silencing material (also in you shop-picture).

    Shouldn't be any import costs under £135. I stand to be corrected though.

    No Import costs on anything with Autodoc, they handle everything from there end. Normally around 1.5 to 2 weeks from placing the order to getting the parts. I *think* shipping is about £9 but I like spending money so I normally end up in the free shipping range.

    Got one from dis_autoparts Polish company a couple of years ago about £30, designed for small bumper car, need to fabricate a strap at front to adapt it to fit a big bumper car, otherwise very good

    Does anybody have a picture of the gearbox side? I'm also interested in how it fits around the wishbone?

    That could help routing my brake ducts, especially on the kerb side. Thanks for the pictures!

    Quick update / revival - I found a tray on eBay here

    The seller is apparently in Poland so I wasn't sure if it would arrive but cheap enough so I ordered 2 and they arrived about 3 weeks later.

    I haven't had chance to open the package yet but will post pics / update when I do :)
