How do I find out which pump I have? I've got an 8v MK2 Golf with a 1.8T installed, I've had a look underneath and can see it has the big black box so I guess it is the accumulator, but how would I know whether it has a 8v or 16v pump or are they both the same and if that is the case can I just order a 16v pump assuming it has the greater flow? GSF list separate part numbers for both the 8v and 16v. Any help appreciated Andy.
if the housing only has an attachment for the fuel filter and nothing for an accumulator its a digifant (or accumulator bracket chopped off!) part number would help if you can see one
