Hello All, We are trying to gauge interest in the market for a 1:18 scale Mk2 Golf GTI. Currently, its about the only model not really catered for by the large die-cast replica manufacturers. We are hoping that with enough response, we can convince one of the manufacturers to produce a replica for this model. We will approach as many manufacturers as possible, however, we are hoping to convince arguably the best die-cast replica manufacturers "AUTOart" to take on the job. Prices from AUTOart are around the 50 mark for one of their extremely well made replicas, and some of them are a little cheaper, with some of them being more. I would ask that people interested in buying one, should it be produced, only reply once here to show interest. What we dont want is conversations, requests for other cars, or discussions on colours, trim, wheels etc to find their way in here. The idea being that the companies will be shown this link to promote the market. So please, if you are interested, just reply with a:- Yes Hopefully, we will be able to convince a manufacturer to reproduce it. Also, feel free to post the link to this thread on other VW forums.
