MK2 Golf GTI BBS before 1988

Hi All

Just a quick question really, I have just purchased a MK2 Golf GTI 8v 1987, back in 1987 was there an option to have the BBS wheels like you see on other Golf?

Yes. RS's RM and RA where all around and being fitted by dealers, I'm old enough to remember them on display racks in the dealerships

 

Thanks Mickey, I asked this because I have seen lots of small bumper models not featuring the BBS wheels, for example the Golf I have just purchased has the Tear Drop alloys

 

Yeah my 87 had teardrops..
