Mk2 GTi suspension kit-quick answer needed please.

Hi got an A reg mk2 GTi and am after a suspension kit. Which of these kits would you recommend on a budget-the Koni kit has a 20% off code ending tonight so makes both kits approx same price.
Will be a weekend road car only.

The Eibach kit in the first link is what we have put on ours. It’s a good kit and you get more with it than the second link by the looks of it. If I were to choose between bilstein and koni I would personally always go bilstein.

 

Thanks i had the Bilstein kit in my watch list 'til i had the cash to buy, but it kept going out of stock. Then i saw the 20% Ebay code and found the Koni kit, but the Bilstein kit is back in stock so that was my first choice thank you for the input.

 

I've fitted a few of the Bilstein kits, nice and very similar to oem, just a shade lower and firmer.

 

I don't think you will go far wrong with either kit. Larkspeed are a great supplier too.

I would naturally steer to the Bilstein as have a couple of cars with their B12 kit (same springs as the kit in your, different shocks)

Edit - just a note to say also the Koni kit has matched shocks to the H&R springs where as the B4 shocks are designed first for factory spring height but will work fine with the eibach spring, which incidently was designed for the factory shock!
